Notice of Annual Meeting of Membership
Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 1:00pm

The Board of Directors will be hosting its Annual Meeting of the Membership on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Exeter Country Club. All members are encouraged to attend.

In addition to the customary agenda items such as the year in review, financial standings and outlook for 2024 the Board will be presenting a proposal to the membership for the Re-Statement of By-Laws which will require a vote of the membership. (Information to follow.)

Furthermore, the Board along with members of Blind Tiger will be able to offer updates on the status of the proposed new clubhouse facility.

Hello Members,

Just a reminder as we head into the last part of the season that the Bar & Grill may have limited hours of operation.  Hours will be posted as they are available.

Additionally, In appreciation of our members, we are planning an Autumn Gathering for all ECC members at the Club House on October 29th from 3:00 – 6:00 pm  The Flyer can be downloaded by clicking here.

Course News & Club House Improvements

A few projects around the course…

  • The new granite steps are almost ready for use.
  • We are installing a cobblestone border on the first tee to help with erosion.
  • Stump Grinding has begun (notably near the second tee box).
  • Continuing work on irrigation around the course.

Course News and Upcoming Events

GREAT THINGS HAPPENING AT THE ECC!

ECC Member Spring Social! For all members:  Please join us as we welcome the 2022 Golf Season!

  • Sunday May 1st from 2:00 – 5:00 PM
  • Exeter Country Club Bar and Grill
  • Par-Tee with fellow members and catch up on what’s new with the club. Plan a round of golf and then come in to enjoy drinks and finger foods.

Course News & Club House Improvements. ECC is always working to improve the experience for all golfers.  Below is a partial list of projects (some completed, some on the way).

  • New Paint (see picture above) on the deck and exterior (thanks to great member volunteers Dan A., Tracy A., and Laurie G. that completed this project!).
  • Starting Thursday April 14th, the Grill will have sandwiches from Moe’s and other local shops available on a limited basis.
  • “Slice Seeder” at work.  Our newest piece of equipment is hard at work on the greens.  New growth expected in the next couple of weeks.
  • Coming Soon: New granite steps on tee boxes (1, 4, 8/9). New Sand in all the Bunkers… Thanks Brendan!
  • New Materials containment area (no more piles in the parking lot!)

So Close!!

Happy Spring Golfers! We know everyone is getting excited for the 2022 season to begin! If Mother Nature cooperates, we expect an opening in the first or second week in April. Please watch our Facebook page or your inbox for future announcements.

We’ve already been busy at the course. Superintendent Brendan Norton and crew have started Spring cleanup and has pruned many of the trees around the course. He is also continuing work on drainage and irrigation.

In addition, look forward to seeing a few more events this year (social and golf) as committees start to put together a schedule! Don’t forget to renew your membership! Annual membership is due by March 31. For any questions about membership please contact us here. The Membership form can be downloaded here.

{See what we did there!!} Happy Fourth of July Golfers! The Summer is flying by and conditions have never been better at ECC! A shout out to Bill Cassell (Head Pro), Brendan Norton (Superintendent) and the the entire ECC Staff for their great work this year!

Welcome To ECC’s New Website. We hope you will enjoy the new look and feel and we hope to add additional functionality as the summer comes along!
