Notice of Annual Meeting of Membership
Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 1:00pm
The Board of Directors will be hosting its Annual Meeting of the Membership on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Exeter Country Club. All members are encouraged to attend.
In addition to the customary agenda items such as the year in review, financial standings and outlook for 2024 the Board will be presenting a proposal to the membership for the Re-Statement of By-Laws which will require a vote of the membership. (Information to follow.)
Furthermore, the Board along with members of Blind Tiger will be able to offer updates on the status of the proposed new clubhouse facility.

Hello Golfers!
As always, we are excited to be open for 2023 and looking forward to seeing everybody out on the course. As mentioned in our previous email, the course is open with limited bar and grill service.
Additionally, it will most likely be walking only until the Pro-Shop and Grounds Crew clear the course for carts (typically cart paths only this early in the year). It’s always best to call ahead for the current conditions (603-772-4752). Tee Times also available on line at ExeterCountryClub.com
Course News & Improvements Here are a few things we’re working on this spring! |
- Tee boxes
- Tees markers will be kept forward on holes 3,4,5,7 to allow for watering of the seeded areas
- Cart paths (50% completed 40 ton of gravel on paths)
- waiting on another 60 ton to be delivered
Bring in new gravel and fill in wash outs on holes 1, 2,3,4,9,
- waiting on another 60 ton to be delivered
- Replace dead trees (week of the 24th of April)
- Add 1 new maple on hole 7 and 2 on hole 9.
- Add arborvitaes on 8 green to replace dead spruce tree.
- Bunkers (90% completed)
- Edge bunkers and remove excess grass and loam – Add 10 tons of new sand.
- Greens aeration (April 24th – 27th)
- Small hole size should minimize disruption to play and heal back up within a week.
- Tree pruning on the 4th hole (May 1-2)
- Transition sod projects on 3 and 4 back into fairway ( expected to be ready by 2nd week of may)

Hello Members,
Just a reminder as we head into the last part of the season that the Bar & Grill may have limited hours of operation. Hours will be posted as they are available.
Additionally, In appreciation of our members, we are planning an Autumn Gathering for all ECC members at the Club House on October 29th from 3:00 – 6:00 pm The Flyer can be downloaded by clicking here.

Special Meeting Reminder
Just a reminder to all Members: The Special Meeting regarding a proposal by the Blind Tiger Group is scheduled to take place, as per the original notification, on Sunday, July 31st at 10:00 am. The meeting will be held at the Clubhouse at ECC. A notification has been mailed to members with instructions on how to download documents.

Notice of Special Meeting
Attention Members of the Exeter Country Club:
The Board of Directors will be hosting a “Special Meeting of the Members” to be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 10:00am at the Exeter Country Club.
Purpose of the meeting is to discuss and present information to the membership pertaining to the proposed new building to include but not limited to a full-service restaurant with golf simulators and locker rooms as proposed by Blind Tiger Holdings, LLC.
This is a single purpose/topic meeting. Members in good standing will have a presentation from the Board of Directors including the following:
- Overview material provided from Blind Tiger Holdings, LLC
- General overview of exactly what is being proposed (Ground Lease, Services Agreement and Sub-lease agreements between the ECC and Blind Tiger)
- A handout of Frequently Asked Questions as prepared by the Board of Directors
- Questions and Answers discussion from the floor
- A summary and recommendation from the Board of Directors
- A paper ballot with detailed language for voting (*Please see the attached.)
Please note that only “Members in Good Standing” shall be eligible to attend the meeting and will be required to register for admittance. (A member in good standing is further defined as a member whom has paid their ECC membership dues in full for the year 2022 by no later than the close of business on Friday, July 22, 2022 to allow time for processing of an accurate membership roster for the date of the special meeting. Family memberships allow for two adults to vote. (Honorary members are eligible to vote.)
Members are required to attend the special meeting in person to cast a ballot for voting. Voting will be opened after the presentation and floor discussion is closed. Voting time shall be limited to 1 hour. (No votes shall be accepted via proxy, electronic or otherwise.)

Special Meeting
Proposed Vote of Exeter Country Club Membership
“Shall the Membership of the Exeter Country Club (“the Club”) vote to authorize the Board of Directors, and the Subcommittee thereof, to negotiate with Blind Tiger Holdings, LLC (or its assigns) (“Blind Tiger”) an arrangement whereby the Club would execute:
- A non-binding Letter-of-Intent, to enable Blind Tiger to move forward with finalizing documents and obtaining approvals and/or permits as needed for its proposed project at the Club;
- A ground lease with Blind Tiger;
- Documents to permit Blind Tiger to demolish the clubhouse and erect a new building at its own cost, to own and operate at the Club;
- One or more services agreements, a sub-lease and/or other contractual arrangements that may be required for the purposes of providing necessary and desirable services at the Club to its Members and to members of the public, including, but not limited to, a full-service restaurant, a pro-shop for golf operations, locker rooms, storage space and other amenities,
- subject to the approval by the bank holding the Club’s mortgage of the documents described above, including but not limited to the ground lease, sub-lease and service agreement(s), and
- also subject to the Board of Directors or the Subcommittee thereof calling for a further meeting and vote of the Members if the Board of Directors or the Subcommittee thereof determines that it is in the best interests of the Membership to do so, once the above- described documents are finalized?”

- One-Day Member-Guest Tournament
- Friday July 8th 18 Hole Shotgun Start at 12:00 pm Format:
- 2 Person Best Ball Each player on the team plays their own golf ball throughout the round, and on each hole the low score – or “best ball” – of the group serves as the team score.
- Games
- Indvidual Gross & Net Skins (90%)
- Closest to the Pins
- Long Drive
- Entry Fee Members: $40.00
- Entry Fee Guests: $70.00
- Cart: $10.00/player
- There will be a meal following play!

- 2022 Men’s Member Guest
- Sign-ups begin June 30th – Payment required at time of registration.
- Saturday July 23rd and Sunday July 24th
- Members may bring up to three guests for two 18-hole Best Ball rounds.
- Friday (July 22nd) – Optional practice round, signup required, 5:00pm shotgun start, $25.00 per player, 2 man best ball format.
- Saturday – 12:00pm Shotgun start, dinner to follow
- Sunday – 8:00am Shotgun start, Sandwiches, Awards to follow
- Entry Fee includes a gift, golf, daily and overall prizes, cash skins game daily and food.
- Entry Fee : $180.00 (Carts are optional at $10.00/day/player) Cash or Check (made out to Bill Cassell) only. No Credit Cards
- First 56 Paid Entrties constitutes a full field. Sign up in the Pro-Shop!
